Privateer Flashback – Daytona 1987

Who would have thought that a Honda-mounted privateer from Northern California would win the only supercross of his career at what was arguably the biggest race of the year? Rick Ryan was the first-ever privateer to win a supercross main event and he overcame a challenging race track and a painful knee injury to do it.
