Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Race Recap – Kevin Moranz

Motocross – Round 10 (Ironman)Greetings! This weekend was our first professional race back since the injury we sustained at Supercross in May. After that injury, I had my shoulder scoped to fix my labrum in my shoulder and the last 4 months have been for recovery and building strength back in my shoulder through therapy and training. My shoulder feels great, this weekend was our return and 450 MX Debut.  We had a very drama-filled morning with almost not being able to race. We rebounded by figuring the situation out and qualifying P-21. Motos went well and we ended up finishing inside the top 20 overall. Takeaways
WE ARE BACK! On a real note, I have to be proud of 4 months off, coming back from injury, dealing with adversity the morning of (watch vlog below), my first ever Pro Outdoor race on a 450, and right into the top 20 overall in the premier class. Positives are there is room for nothing but improvement as speed and conditioning will get better, so we are looking for bigger and better this coming weekend at Fox Raceway in Pala, California.
