2022 AMA Pro Racing Motocross License Application is Now Open

Recently AMA Pro Racing opened the 2022 AMA Pro Racing Motocross License season. Below is the Notification and steps to take to apply for a 2022 AMA Pro Racing Motocross License

Subject: 2022 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross and ATV Motocross License Applications Now Available

Online licensing is now available for Lucas Oil Pro Motocross and ATV Motocross riders interested in participating in the 2022 season. The AMA Pro Racing Member Network allows members to manage their own membership information, as well as process payments securely online.

Once you have completed the online portion and payment of your application, please remember to check your email and follow the instructions on the rider check list. All minor riders must return all required documents along with notarized signatures promptly.

How to Apply for a 2022 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross or ATV Motocross Rider License

Lucas Oil Pro Motocross and ATV Motocross rider applications may be submitted by following these instructions:

Existing Online Users: Log in to the AMA Pro Member Network at http://members.amaproracing.com/. If you have trouble logging in, please follow the instructions below.

Forgot your username or password?

Please visit http://members.amaproracing.com/UserSupport.aspx.

  • If you have forgotten your password, enter your username into the appropriate field.
  • If you have forgotten username, enter your email address into the appropriate field

New Online Users: Follow the New User instructions below to create an online account.

  • Once logged in, click My Account.
  • Click Profile to review and update your, Mailing Address, Email Address, Phone Numbers and Emergency Contact information.
  • Click Licenses and the Motocross or ATV logo to apply for a 2022 Motocross or ATV Rider License.
  • Once the application has been completed, do not log out. Wait to be redirected to Docu-Sign where you must read and accept the electronic signature agreement to apply your electronic signature to the AMA Pro Racing Terms and Conditions and the 2022 Annual Participant Release, Waiver of Liability Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement, the HIPPA Authorization and the COVID-19 HIPPA Authorization for the use and disclosure of health information.
  • After applying, the Licenses page will allow you to review your application Status by clicking the red “Check Status” button

New user?

  • Please visit http://members.amaproracing.com
  • Choose Register to create a new user account and then click continue.
  • If you have previously held an AMA Pro License, follow the prompts to link your current Member ID to your new user account. Do NOT create a new account.
  • Once your account has been created, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address we have on file for you.
  • Open your confirmation email and click Activate Account.

You will be redirected to the My Account page, where you will need to complete the following steps:

  • Click Licenses and the Motocross or ATV logo to apply for a 2022 Motocross or ATV Rider License.
  • Once the application has been completed, do not log out. Wait to be redirected to Docu-Sign where you must read and accept the electronic signature agreement to apply your electronic signature to the AMA Pro Racing Terms and Conditions and the 2022 Annual Participant Release, Waiver of Liability Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement, the HIPPA Authorization and the COVID-19 HIPPA Authorization for the use and disclosure of health information.
  • After applying, the Licenses page will allow you to review your application Status by clicking the red “Check Status” button.

Upon approval, you will receive an email stating that you have been approved. In that email there is a link that directs you to MX Sports Pro Racing to enter or update any information that may have changed since you first applied.

STEPS TO COMPLETE SUBMISSION OF YOUR LICENSE APPLICATION

  1. Fill out your application completely and do not leave any requested information blank. Incomplete and/or illegible applications cannot be processed and will delay the issuance of your License. All information and forms must be properly completed and received by AMA Pro Racing no later than 30 days prior to your first event.
  2. Provide your complete physical mailing AND email address. Correspondence will be sent to you primarily by email.
  3. Include a copy of your current medical insurance card to show proof of current primary medical insurance coverage.
  4. Include one (1) passport size photo for your season photo credential. Please write your name on the back of each photo –No hats or sunglasses. Photo may also be emailed to smcmillan@amaproracing.com
  5. All Minor riders must sign and return the following pages notarized for both the rider’s and the parent’s signatures: 2022 Annual Participant Waiver, Release of Liability, Indemnity Agreement which Must be Notarized. 2022 MXS All Event Release, Waiver and Indemnity Agreement which Must be Notarized. Annex B Consent to Doping Control – If you are considered a minor in your state of residence, your Parents/Guardian must also sign and have notarized the bottom consent portion of these forms.
  6. Proof of completion of ImPACT Concussion Management Test result is required for a Motocross license and highly recommended for an ATV license. This test can be administered online at http://www.impacttest.com/find_care_provider or at any approved medical facility. ImPACT Concussion tests are good for 2 years. If your test was taken prior to the last two seasons or earlier, you must take the test again for a 2022 license.
  7. Do you meet the rider age requirement? (MX is 16 and ATVMX is 17)
  8. New Applicants Only: Attach legible copy of your birth certificate.
  9. (MX Only) Complete the Eligibility Questionnaire https://mxsportsproracing.com/page/mx-eligibility at (new rider applicants and riders that have not held a license in the last two years or do not fall under any of the other criteria)
  10. All riders are required to complete the Direct Deposit Agreement and w-9 at time of registration. A clear photo of a voided check must also be submitted. Please make sure the routing and account numbers are clearly visible. It is your responsibility to provide us with the correct information. All payments will be made via Direct Deposit. Payments will not be made without a current Direct Deposit Agreement and w-9 on file. Checks will not be issued.
  11. Foreign Riders will be paid by check following the event. Alternative methods are available upon request.
  12. Foreign riders must submit a Start Permission or a Release and Certification from their licensing federation.

All items must be answered and submitted completely before your license will be processed and issued. If you are a minor, please mail your signed and NOTARIZED forms with additional required documents and notarized signatures to the following address:

Please remember that all minor applications must be printed and returned to the AMA Pro Racing office with notarized signatures in order to begin the licensing approval process. In the event your application is not approved, a full refund will be returned to you.Faxed or emailed applications will not be accepted.

Documents must be received by AMA Pro Racing no later than 30 days prior to your first event of the season. License applications will only be approved in advance and will not be accepted or approved at an event.
