San Diego, CA – January 22, 2022
The San Diego Supercross round has been dedicated to our Men and Women in service for over a decade; so, today we’d like to start by thanking each and every person who has fought for our freedoms and our ability to pursue our dreams.
Colby Copp #645 has made significant progress each week so far this season; but the stacked 250SX West class is proving to be quite the challenge. Bad starts have kept Colby out of the Main Event so far, but he knows he as the speed to be up top. During his heat he came from near last to passing TPJ Transport rider Max Stafford on the last lap for 13th. Throughout the LCQ, Copp was pushing and attempting to make his way through the pack, but a few crashes and some bad luck kept him watching the Main from the stands.
When asked about the weekend, here’s what he had to say: “I’m feeling great! My fitness and speed is right where it needs to be, I’ve put most of the pieces to my puzzle together just need a couple more and I believe I could be a top contender”.
