Now in his seventh year of competition in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, Missouri’s Benny Bloss knows what it takes to compete amongst the incredible depth of talent in the 450 Class. Additionally, Bloss is no stranger to playing the role of underdog, as he’s championed the privateer path for much of his career. This summer Bloss has embarked on a journey with BBMX KTM, where he’s been a fixture in the top 15 of the premier division. At RedBud, Bloss parlayed solid starts into an equally solid afternoon that saw him earn 11-14 moto scores to equal a season-best 12th-place finish. It was indicative of the progression Bloss had shown leading up to this point of the season, where he’ll look to keep the momentum going with continued pushes to contend for top-10 results. As a result of his impressive RedBud ride, Bloss earned FMF Privateer Power Award honors for the Independence Day event.
