The team at Landmaster was approached with the opportunity to sponsor JSR Motorsports and their rider Justin Starling for the 2023 SuperMotocross World Championship.
Supercross races are broadcast live on the Peacock streaming app and national television networks like NBC, USA & FOX Sports. Supercross races are man-made dirt courses set inside football and baseball stadiums nationwide; the average Supercross draws 55,000 fans!
Over 18 weeks, Justin and the team at JSR Motorsports traveled over 21,000 miles to compete in 17 rounds of Supercross in 16 different cities! More impressive was that 11 of the 17 races had sellout crowds with fans above 60,000 attendees. The Monster Energy Fan Fest gives every one of those fans a chance to get up close and personal not only with the stars of the show (the racers) but also interact with the team staff, mechanics, and marketing gurus. They get to touch, see, and feel similar products the pros use through manufacturer’s displays and demos.
Landmaster had the opportunity to take advantage of that exact situation during the Monster Energy Fan Fest at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with a full Manufacturers display including two demo units, marketing giveaways, stickers, brochures, and even a meet-and-greet with Justin himself. During Fan Fest, over 500 Landmaster brochures were taken home by customers. “Look for the Landmaster display at a Supercross round near you in 2024, or better yet, check out Landmaster at an AMA Motocross National this summer, or visit your local dealer today!” Says David Piercy, Director of Marketing for Landmaster.
Throughout the season, Justin’s results carried the tried but true slow and steady mentality that each week was a building block for the next week. His mentality and game plan for the season culminated at Rice-Eccles Stadium on May 13th, where Justin would finish a career-best 8th place in the Premier 450 class. With his 8th place finish, Justin solidified his season-ending 17th place, earning him a chance to attend the SuperMotocross World Championship rounds that will take place in September.
The team at Landmaster looks forward to cheering Justin on at the three playoff rounds that will take place in; Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, & Los Angeles, CA. Between the end of Supercross and the SuperMotocross Playoffs, Justin has an exciting schedule ahead of himself, including races in Brazil, Italy, Paris, and local to Landmaster at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, IN!
