Hey YouTube. Welcome to first video of 2 stroke at the nationals. Have never done this before. Racing at the top level on a 2 stroke in a dominant 4 stroke sport. So we said what the hell. Let’s give her a shot. What the worst that can happen. Went out first practice and lost my rear brakes in the time where you had to set your fastest time. Got her fixed for second practice but everyone was going for broke so I wrecked going for a fast time. Also I have never seen so many wheels on the ground flags and yellow flag in a practice. Riders down left and right, so there was no shot a fast time coming out of 2nd practice. So we qualified 50th. Not ideal. But LCQ here we come. Got a great jump for a 2 stroke. Was hovering around top 10 till a pile up in turn 3 after the start. Went from 32nd to 16th. No go for me but hey we tried our best. Had a blast with the 2 stroke fans. Hearing yelling and air horns all around the track. People just loving the effort. We had a blast. Like to thank all my sponsors for helping out getting me parts overnighted so we could rebuild the bike in time. Even with a holiday being in that week. My girlfriend Nicky for helping video me at the nationals and supporting me. Family and friend for helping me thru the week. We had a blast. Need to do some 2 stroke races on this thing. She is an awesome bike. Just gotta show its potential. We will keep working at it and giving you guys more content.
