My very loose program, spontaneous decision and journey to sign up and race A1 2024. From no thoughts or intentions of racing on December 31…to packing up the motorhome and heading across the country, from North Carolina to California, Jan. 2 to beat the clock and make it in time to park in the pits before they closed on Jan 4. Although the race didn’t pan out like I hoped, it was a fun weekend spent with my family. In the heat race, I was two spots out of making it into the main event and got buried with a bad start in the LCQ. But, I was able to have my dad by my side as my mechanic down on the line with me (a first for us in a Supercross race), and together we got to witness my brother, Justin, win 1st place in the LCQ race.
