Round 15: Pittsburgh, PA
April 27, 2025 | Acrisure Stadium

Monster Energy Supercross made its long-awaited return to Pittsburgh for the first time in 42
years, staging Round 15 at the iconic Acrisure Stadium—home of the Pittsburgh Steelers and
nestled along the scenic Ohio River. Despite the threat of rain, the SMX track crew rose to the
occasion, maintaining prime race conditions on a technical and fast layout. A condensed
schedule saw free practice eliminated, meaning riders had to adapt quickly and get up to speed
immediately in timed qualifying.

Freddie Noren (#33) came out swinging, qualifying P18 overall in the 450 class. Despite a few
challenging weekends, the veteran has been riding with increased consistency. He narrowly
missed a transfer spot in his heat but responded with a dominant performance in the LCQ,
taking the win and securing his place in the main event. As the gate dropped for the main, Noren
battled throughout the field and ultimately wrapped up the night with a respectable P15 finish ,
continuing his upward momentum heading into the final two rounds.

Logan Leitzel (#208) put in a solid qualifying effort with a P29, just outside his usual range. In
his heat, he placed P17, sending him to the LCQ. After a decent start that had him in P9 on the
opening lap, a mid-race incident shuffled him to the back of the pack. Refusing to give up,
Logan charged back through the field to finish P18 in the LCQ, showcasing his determination
and grit.

Bubba Pauli (#282) qualified P38 and faced tough luck in his heat after getting pinched offin
the first turn and buried in traffic. In the LCQ, Bubba was battling around mid-pack when
lingering injuries flared up,forcing him to back it down. He finished the night in P17, showing
heart even as adversity struck.

With only two rounds remaining, the series now heads west to Denver and then wraps up in Salt
Lake City. It’s been an unpredictable and challenging season, but the ISRT Kawasaki team
continues to grow stronger. Despite injuries and setbacks, the effort, consistency, and team
spirit remain high as they aim to close out the season on a high note.
