Mt. Morris, PA — Round 4 | 2025 Pro Motocross Championship
Coming off a tough weekend in Colorado, ISRT Kawasaki’s Freddie Noren (#33) came into High Point Raceway focused on recovery and regrouping. Despite still not being at 100%, Noren showed grit and determination, putting together a solid performance in both motos.
Moto 1 saw Noren start just outside the top 25. Undeterred, he put his head down and charged forward, steadily picking off riders to finish in 18th place — a commendable effort considering his physical condition.
Moto 2 brought chaos as a sudden downpour soaked the track moments before the gate drop. The wet conditions led to a first-turn pile-up involving Noren and reigning Supercross Champion Cooper Webb. After remounting at the very back of the pack, Noren showed incredible pace in the mud, working his way up to 17th by the 20-minute mark. Unfortunately, the race was red-flagged with 10 minutes remaining due to nearby lightning strikes. Noren expressed frustration, stating he felt capable of reaching the top 10 with the momentum he had in the treacherous conditions.
Meanwhile, teammate Logan Leitzel (#208) arrived at High Point with confidence after building momentum at Thunder Valley. Despite being a Pennsylvania native, this was his first time racing a Pro National at his home track. Qualifying proved challenging, as he narrowly missed the cut by just one position. However, he managed to secure a gate for Moto 2.
Like Noren, Leitzel was nearly collected in the first-turn incident but stayed upright and started his charge through the field. He worked up to 27th before a mid-race mistake set him back. Leitzel would ultimately finish in 30th as the red flag ended the moto early.
With a weekend off before Round 5 at Southwick on June 28th, both riders and the ISRT Kawasaki team plan to use the break to focus on recovery, testing, and preparation for the notoriously rough sands of Massachusetts.
