Round 3 of the SuperMotocross World Championship at Anaheim 2 delivered a demanding night of racing for the ISRT team, with both riders battling through a deep and highly competitive field from qualifying through the Last Chance Qualifiers.
The Anaheim 2 round was proudly supported by Factory Chassis Parts (FCP), who served as title sponsor for the event. FCP’s continued partnership with ISRT reflects a shared commitment to performance, precision, and innovation at the highest level of SuperMotocross competition.
Despite dealing with discomfort on the track, veteran racer Vince Friese pushed through the entire night to the checkered flag. Friese qualified into the night program and earned a 10th-place finish in his heat race, securing a spot in the LCQ. He followed with a strong 3rd-place result in the LCQ, advancing to the 450 Main Event. In the main event, Friese battled through the field and finished 19th.
Max Miller faced a similarly challenging path, qualifying 25th and missing a direct transfer from his heat with a 13th-place finish, sending him to the LCQ. Miller regrouped and delivered a determined ride, running as high as 3rd for the opening three laps before a small mistake resulted in a spectacular crash. Despite the setback, Miller remounted and fought to a 6th-place finish in the LCQ, narrowly missing the final transfer position.
While Anaheim 2 proved demanding, the round marked continued progress in several key areas for ISRT as the team remains focused on performance improvements each weekend.
Looking ahead to Round 4 in Houston, Texas, ISRT is proud to announce that Tristan Dalton has been accepted into the SMX Next program and will be competing in Houston. Dalton’s inclusion underscores the team’s commitment to developing emerging talent and strengthening the next generation within its racing program.
