Privateer 250SX West rider Crockett continued his steady climb in the 2026 AMA Supercross Championship with a
standout performance at Round 5 in Glendale, achieving a significant career milestone by earning his first-ever direct
transfer to the main event and finishing the night with a strong 14th place result.
The night began with a confident showing in qualifying, where Crockett posted the 15th fastest time in the 250SX West
field. That performance set the tone heading into his heat race, where he battled aggressively and ran inside the top six
for several laps before securing 9th at the checkered flag-earning him an automatic transfer to the main event for the
first time in his professional career.
In the main event, Crockett got off to a fast start, charging into the top 10 in the early stages. He maintained a steady
pace throughout the race and crossed the line in 14th, collecting more valuable championship points.
After five rounds, Crockett now sits 17th overall in the 250SX West standings, with a realistic opportunity to break into
the top 15 following the upcoming Seattle round, the final event before the West Coast midseason break.
Crockett’s continued progress and presence in main events would not be possible without the support of his valued
sponsors, including the McGinley Privateer Support Program and B2 Metal Buildings. Their commitment to supporting
privateer efforts is instrumental in Crockett’s ability to compete at the highest level of the sport.
