From ISRT Kawasaki
ISRT Kawasaki arrived in the Pacific Northwest for Round 6 of the SuperMotocross Championship facing a new challenge, as Max Miller will be sidelined for an extended period following injuries sustained the previous weekend. With Miller recovering, Vince Friese carried the banner as the team’s lone athlete in Seattle.
Fresh off a Super Bowl celebration, the Seattle Seahawks’ home stadium was transformed into a dirt racing masterpiece in just over a day, setting the stage for a demanding night of Supercross competition. Known in football as the home of the “12th Man, ” Seattle presented what we referred to as the “23rd opponent” — a soft, ever-changing track surface that tested even the sport’s top competitors throughout the brisk February evening.
Friese faced a challenging day from the outset. After qualifying 20th, he delivered a determined ride in his heat race to secure a solid 8th-place finish and transfer directly to the main event. A mid-race crash in the main ultimately resulted in a 19th-place finish, placing Friese 19th overall in the championship standings as the series prepares to head east.
Both Friese and the ISRT Kawasaki team remain focused on steady progress and climbing the standings in the coming weeks.
Next up is Arlington, Texas, marking the opening round of the 250 East Coast Championship. ISRT Kawasaki is excited to debut Noah Viney for the eastern campaign. Fans can catch both Friese and Viney at this weekend’s Military Appreciation race inside AT&T Stadium.
