ISRT Kawasaki | Daytona: Grit, Progress & Valuable Lessons

From ISRT Kawasaki

Round 8 of the SuperMotocross World Championship brought ISRT Kawasaki to the historic Daytona Supercross, one of the most physically demanding and technically challenging tracks on the calendar.

450SX
Vince Friese qualified 17th during the afternoon sessions before delivering a strong ride in his heat race, finishing 9th to transfer directly into the main event. In the feature, Friese navigated the deep sand, evolving ruts, and long main-event distance to secure a hard-earned 14th-place finish. The result marks another steady points night for the team as the championship progresses.

250SX East
In just his rookie East Coast campaign, Noah Viney faced the unique challenge that Daytona presents. Viney narrowly missed the qualifying cut on the demanding circuit but continues to gain valuable experience adapting to the diverse soil types and track conditions featured throughout the eastern rounds.

Daytona is known for testing endurance, technique, and machine setup, and the team leaves Florida with continued progress and valuable data moving forward. ISRT Kawasaki now turns its focus to Indianapolis and the upcoming Triple Crown event, where three main events per class will offer multiple opportunities to capitalize on strong starts and consistent finishes.
