Nashville, TN — ISRT Kawasaki continued to show progress and determination at Round 13 of the Supercross Championship, highlighted by a consistent performance from Vince Friese and an eye-opening Supercross debut from Cornelius Tøndel. Friese delivered a steady night, qualifying 20th before charging to a 9th-place finish in his heat race. He carried that momentum into the 450SX Main Event, finishing 15th and securing valuable championship points.
Making his first-ever Supercross appearance, with just three days of Supercross experience, Tøndel showed immediate speed and potential. After qualifying 37th, he impressed in the heat race by running inside the top five early and battling competitively
before finishing 16th.
In the LCQ, Tøndel continued to turn heads, leading multiple laps and putting himself in position to transfer to the Main Event. However, two mid-race mistakes ultimately took him out of contention, dropping him to 9th at the finish. Despite narrowly missing the Main Event, the performance marked a significant step forward and highlighted the raw speed and adaptability of the young Norwegian rider.
“There’s a lot of positives to take from Nashville, ” the team shared. For a first Supercross with minimal seat time, Cornelius showed he can run up front, and Vince continues to grind out results. We’re building every round.”
ISRT Kawasaki now turns its focus to Round 14 in Cleveland as the team continues to gain momentum.
