Greetings! What a night… almost transferred from the heat, amazing LCQ, and a strong main event. I lost my rear braking system about 4 laps in, kept my composure and held top 15 until close to 10 minutes left when my motor gave out on me. Very lucky it gave out in the whoops and not a jump. Was a late night after the races tearing down my 450 and pulling the motor.Woke up the next morning and split the cases to find a destroyed transmission and cracked cases. Thankfully, KTM USA allowed us to purchase a new stock engine that we had overnighted to get us ready for the next round March 20th. |
Takeaways – I am blessed to have great people behind me and great people around me that all stepped up to help with this situation. Sorry, this update and the next one coming soon about the last two Arlington rounds is delayed. Had to take priorities of getting the bike running so I could race to even have the chance to give a race recap haha. |
