For the Red Bud National, the Gizmo Mods/Rock River/Yamaha team excelled with incredible performances. The atmosphere in Buchanan was extraordinary, and all members of the premier assembly would thrive as the checkered flag waved for the Holiday Weekend.

Michigan’s Marshal Weltin would perform at a high level throughout the event on Saturday. Following a strong practice effort, Weltin advanced to the 450MX LCQ, where his experience on the Red Bud circuit equated to an eventual victory. From there, he would present a significant summary of results alongside the best riders from around the world, and with a combination of feats that included finishes of twenty-sixth and seventeenth, his overall score of twenty-second would be recognized by all in attendance.

Valentin Guillod was exceptional throughout practice, and his momentum was sustained well past the green flag of 450MX, moto-one. He would battle at the front of the field and maintained a notable pace for the entirety of the thirty-six-minute contest to collect seventeenth. Valentin’s talent was on display once more for moto-two, and despite encountering a bit of misfortune, the native of Switzerland appeared determined to build from his eventual moto score of thirty-seventh, and his final overall placement (of twenty-fourth) in the 450MX standings.

Pennsylvania’s Bryce Shelly was extraordinary through each lap of practice, and as he progressed to the 450MX LCQ, his race-craft was immediately revealed. He battled through the four-lap sprint to collect third-place honors at the finish line. From there, Shelly continued to rise as competition level{s) elevated – and with his summary of main event scores (i.e., twenty-third and twenty-eighth) Bryce collected a thirtieth-place feat as action concluded.

Grant Harlan accelerated with superb line selection throughout practice, and his speed was evident as the opening moto of the 450MX class came to fruition. In an unfortunate crashing sequence, Grant would be forced out of the contest – and his overall result (of forty-second) would be a feat to rebound from, in the upcoming venue(s) of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.

The number 900 of Keegan Rowley swept through the Red Bud circuit with a fearless mentality throughout 250MX practice sessions. His pace continued to elevate, and following a commendable effort in the LCQ, the Illinois native would exit the raceway with a hard-fought ninth-place finish.

Bronson McClure proved that he could compete alongside world-renowned athletes in the 250MX division. After putting forth a number of strong laps in practice, the Colorado resident then set his sights on the Last Chance Qualifier. Once there, his ability to battle for every position was remarkable – and as the final flag was thrown, he would come away with a tremendous twenty-second place feat.

California’s Kyle Wise had been excelling throughout the AMA Pro Motocross Championship for all of 2025. His trajectory was stellar, and he would fly across the Michigan landscape with phenomenal corner speed before entering into the 250MX LCQ. Once there, he would encounter a bit of bad luck prior to earning an achievement of thirty-sixth – which is a feat he plans to build from in the coming weeks.

With racing in Michigan completed, the Gizmo Mods/Rock River/Yamaha team will travel to the Spring Creek facility for next Saturday’s segment of competition. After excelling in season’s past at the Millville venue, the unit will certainly thrive as event(s) take place in Minnesota for the 2025 season.
