Daytona is always an exciting race, though it remains a challenge to navigate as the track conditions and dirt constantly change.
Ryder Floyd had a strong qualifying performance, moving directly into the night show after placing 11th in the B Group. This put him in Heat Race 1, where he finished 12th, just missing a transfer spot to the main event. In the LCQ, a difficult start and tough competition resulted in an 8th-place finish.
We are heading to Indianapolis next week before a scheduled break. The team will continue to focus on starts during our mid-week practice, as both Ryder and the team are confident he has the speed necessary to qualify for the main event.
