TiLube Honda Racing St Louis SX Recap

We arrived in St. Louis this weekend and decided to perform an engine swap since our previous engine had timed out. It was a necessary step to ensure reliability and safety.

Ryder had a very strong qualifying session, finishing 20th overall in the combined East/West Shootout and 13th in the East series. This secured us a spot in the night show with a solid gate pick.

In Heat 2, Ryder chose the inside gate again. While it was a gamble, he unfortunately got pinched off entering the first turn. He was running mid-pack when a red flag was issued. On the second start, he came around near the back and worked his way up to 15th, which sent us to the LCQ.

Morale remained high going into the LCQ, as we knew we had the speed to make the main event. Ryder moved down a few gates and was banging elbows all the way down the start straight, ultimately finishing 10th.

Next week, we will be at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Let’s go!
