What a weekend! We started on Friday by performing an engine change before the 1 PM press session. This provided perfect timing for a motor check before the race and allowed for a few great interviews.
Confidence remained high heading into Saturday. Qualifying went well, with an overall finish of 21st. This gave Ryder a solid gate pick for Heat 2, where he pulled his first holeshot and finished P-5, sending us straight to the main event.
In the main, Ryder secured another strong start, but a complete loss of vision coming around the first turn and through the rhythm section, which shuffled him back to mid-pack. After a few mistakes on a tricky, slippery track, we finished in 17th place.
Ryder and the team are looking forward to finishing the season strong at the final round in Salt Lake City.
