Washougal MX Park, Washougal, WA
The Pacific Northwest welcomed racing this past weekend at Washougal MX Park. Within the picturesque landscape hides a rigorous racetrack that requires precision, talent and confidence to manage.

Derek Kelley #73 – 14th in Moto 1, 14th in Moto 2, 14th Overall and 14 points earned; Washougal was very good to Kelley. Coming off an injury from earlier this month, Kelley has been working hard to gain speed and confidence each week. This week, he accomplished that with his hard-fought battles and
incredible finish. This is the kind of race he hopes to see more of in the few remaining rounds. He will use this two week break to continue to heal his shoulder and train as much as possible for the final push towards the end of the series.

Matt Hubert #647 – had a roller coaster of a day; from a top 25 qualifying position to a terrible crash in Moto #1 resulting in a DNF, to a tremendous 22nd place finish in Moto 2…but he couldn’t be more please. The come back makes it all worth it, and Hubert was pumped to overcome the challenges of the day and end just shy of points. Hubert continues to progress each week and is certain he will be crossing the finish line in the final five rounds with points by his name.
