Derek Kelley #73 arrived at Unadilla ready to capitalize on his amazing finish two weeks ago in Washougal.  He held strong during qualifying, placing 22nd with a 2.29.901 best lap time.  Moto 1 was going well, until a few laps from the finish he hit the dirt.  Due to safety protocols, Kelley was removed from racing the remainder of the day; and will sit out next weekends race at Budds Creek.  He is confident he will be cleared to ride the upcoming Ironman National.  We wish him the best of luck with his concussion recovery.

Matt Hubert #647 had renewed energy coming into Unadilla.  He started out the day 23rd overall during qualifying, with a 2.31.102 lap time.  Hubert rode strong in both Moto’s and was pleased with his overall of 28th for the day.  This season is definitely “heading in the right direction” according to Matt.  He knows there is always room to improve but he has faith in himself and the team; he looks forward to the remainder of the season.
