I didn’t make the drive out to California to race the first 2 rounds of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series so Thunder Valley is my first round. The temperature and elevation made for some difficulties during the motos making my bike sputter and my gas boil. Track was rough and challenging and I rode pretty tight all day and did not meet my goals and expectation for my self on the day but it is all up from here! 25 moto 1 and 23 moto 2 for a 27th overall..I learned a lot and have some tools to take away from the day and I am excited to continue to get better as the season goes on. We left on Tuesday and driving our van with our new camper trailer did not make for the easiest drive. We got in late Wednesday and took it pretty easy. Thursday headed to a practice track to do some last minute testing with suspension. Might post a more behind the scenes video this week who knows.
