FMF PRIVATEER POWER AWARD: 2022 HIGH POINT NATIONAL

After a slow start to the 2022 season Justin Rodbell is starting to find his groove. One week after he secured a season-best result, the Maryland native duplicated the effort with his second straight 16th-place finish. What proved to be most impressive about Rodbell’s effort at the Lucas Oil Stabilizer High Point National was his ability to improve upon his starting position in both 450 Class motos. He settled into 17th to begin Moto 1 and picked up three spots to finish solidly in the points in 14th. In the ensuing moto he had his work cut out for him with a start outside the top 20, but Rodbell showed patience on the rough and rutted track and methodically worked his way into the points to finish in 18th. He wrapped up the afternoon with 14-18 moto scores, which was good enough for 16th overall and FMF Privateer Power Award honors at High Point.

High Point National:
#55 Justin Rodbell / Prince Frederick, Maryland / Husqvarna
450 Class: 16th overall (14-18)
