ISRT Kawasaki Race Recap – Detroit, Michigan | Round 11

From ISRT Kawasaki

ISRT Kawasaki arrived in Detroit for Round 11 of the SuperMotocross World Championship facing a challenging weekend, as the team continued to manage the absence of 250 rider Noah Viney. Following his recent injury, Viney has been released from the hospital as of
late last week and is now recovering in Southern California. While his exact timeline for return is still to be determined, he is expected to make a full recovery.

With Viney sidelined, Vince Friese carried the banner as the lone ISRT Kawasaki rider on track. Detroit has been a notable venue for Friese, where he previously earned his career- best 450SX finish of 6th in 2022. Qualifying results placed Friese 17th overall, setting him up with a 9th gate pick in 450 Heat 2. Staying composed and riding smart, Friese successfully transferred directly to the
Main Event.

In the Main, a less-than-ideal start made for a tough night. Friese fought through the pack and worked his way up to a 16th-place finish by the checkered flag.

The team now shifts focus to Round 12 in St. Louis—both a home race for the team and for
Friese himself. ISRT Kawasaki looks forward to competing in front of a strong hometown
crowd of family, friends, sponsors, and fans
